The Church of the Chalice is Online

Non-Denominational Cyber Church Opens to All.

December 17, 2004 -- The Church of the Chalice is pleased to announce the opening of its website and blog, featuring the wisdom of Reverend J.R. Grace. Chalice Church is a net-only temple designed to serve the needs of this modern age.

Reverend Grace is ordained by the Universal Life Church and preaches a message of love and inclusion. Her mission is to provide a sanctuary for those who feel out of place in the sometimes-rigid environment of organized religion. Her hope is to create an ongoing discussion on matters of faith in a reality-based world.

Chalice Church features an ever-changing series of inspirational messages from Rev. Grace. Visitors may "drink" these sips of enlightenment by clicking on chalice icons. The messages contained in the cups will replenish monthly. Reverend Grace also posts a blog and invites all site users to participate with their own commentary.

Membership to this web house of worship is completely free. There are no forms to fill out or need to supply personal information. Anyone that wants to be a member can be a member. Worshippers may join the Church by printing out a beautiful Affidavit of Faith certificate. Like the Reverend's chalice maxims and blog sermons, the certificate costs nothing. However, donations are encouraged to help cover expenses. All gifts to the Church are processed through PayPal.

Whatever your faith, be it Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Wicca, Paganism, Agnosticism. Gnosticism, Scientology or Science, you are not wrong. Faith is not a contest. Every human born is one of a kind. Each human has his or her own faith. How can one faith be better than another? Are you tired of being judged? Are you ready to be loved? The Church of the Chalice is a place where all faith is the right faith. The cup is full ... are you ready to drink?
